San Antonio jury to judge: We’re deadlocked over verdict on Andre McDonald

McDonald was charged in the murder of his wife, Andreen McDonald who went missing in March 1, 2019. Her body was found in July of the same year. The jury returned after almost 12 hours of deliberation and weren’t able to reach a verdict. The Allen charge forced the jury back to deliberation.A jury found Air Force Maj.
Prosecutors said the defendant’s repeated lies — the ones he admitted and the ones he continued to tell, even on the witness stand, they said — made his version of what happened unbelievable. She co-owned the $1 million business with her husband, who waited until the eve of his trial two weeks ago to admit he killed her after an argument on the night of Feb. 28, 2019, when he discovered she had cut him out of the venture.
