Less than 96 hours after settling for a 2-2 tie against El Paso on Saturday, San Antonio FC will be back on the field on Wednesday when they travel to face San Diego Loyal SC at Torero Stadium.

San Antonio was leading 3-0 when forward Tani Oluwaseyi was sent off with a second yellow card for dissent. San Diego scored three goals in the second half to share the points with San Antonio. Since that game on June 3 at Toyota Field, both San Antonio and San Diego picked up another tie last weekend. San Diego hosted Western Conference leader Sacramento Republic FC on Friday night and finished with a 1-1 tie. San Antonio tied with El Paso on Saturday, missing out on a chance to move into second in the West.
“We will prepare like we do for every other game, it’s a little bit shorter week,” San Antonio coach Alen Marcina said. “We have the benefit of playing them recently. We will be well prepared and put our best foot forward and hopefully earn three points in San Diego.”
