We speak to therussellcurry & jtfite_ about the second half of PowerRangersDinoFury, what some of their favorite moments on the show have been, and some of the costume logistics that come with being a Power Ranger:
Power Rangers has been passed down from generation to generation since the early '90s. Netflix's Power Rangers Dino Fury is continuing to tell the story for today's young audiences and fans who came in during the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers era alike.
Jordon Fite: Yeah, I'm excited about the character development and the storyline in general. I feel like it's going to leave people on the edge of their seats and eyes stuck on the screen, so I'm very excited. I was at Power Morphicon, and one guy came up to me and was like 'Yo, my wife, she don't even watch Power Rangers, and her eyes were just glued to the screen! It felt like a real series because of the storyline base'.
Jordon Fite: Yeah, it was amazing, man. Just like Russell said, day one through probably day eleven, so that first full block...Jordon Fite: That first block for me was very tough, especially with this being my first job, I was very nervous. Everyone on production and cast mates greeted me with open arms, and I was able to come in and they gave me an opportunity to redo myself. On my first day, I was a little too nervous, probably.
Russell Curry: It's definitely a process every time that we had to put on our suits. We have some funny stories about it! It's not the most comfortable thing in the world, I'll say that much, but the end result is so cool to get to see yourself in there. It's worth that discomfort and it's so cool to see yourself in the mirror that way or on camera that way, it's super cool.
