The Saskatchewan Rush landed six players during the NLL draft this weekend, including Harvard grad Austin Madronic sixth overall.
The Rush selected Austin Madronic in the first round, sixth overall, after he led Harvard with 30 goals in 13 games this past season. “We lost Ben McIntosh a couple of years ago, and we haven’t really replaced that. We look at a guy like Austin … he could very well be that guy. We like what he brings. Saskatchewan also picked defender Isaac Ngyou in the second round , forward Cameron Badour in the third round , transition player Jeremy Searle in the fourth round , forward Gabriel Procyk in the fifth round and forward Carter Brand in the sixth round .
