Before Thursday's doubleheader against Toronto at Guaranteed Rate Field, the Sox placed Kelly on the 15-day injured list with right elbow inflammation."After game, he wasn't feeling that good," Grifol said."He'll go on the IL and we'll have him back for the Mets series . He's going to rest up, regroup. There's nothing really that's alarming. He's just going to take a break.
The White Sox open the second half of the season with nine straight games on the road and they're hoping Moncada comes off the injured list at some point during the trip.
