This spirited spinoff of 'The Mandalorian' rockets onto Disney+ starting Aug. 23.
"Ahsoka" is an eight-episode limited series set five years following"Star Wars: Return of the Jedi" and right after the events of"" Season 2. Rosario Dawson headlines the action-oriented show, reprising her role as ex-Jedi Ahsoka Tano in a storyline inspired by plot details presented in"Star Wars Rebels,""The Mandalorian" and"The Book of Boba Fett.
This star-packed adventure includes the characters of Mandalorian Sabine Wren , Ghost's pilot Hera Syndulla , Jedi Padawan Ezra Bridger , Shin Hat , and Jedi Baylan Skoll , as Ahsoka relentlessly pursues the"Heir to the Empire," Grand Admiral Thrawn . " is scheduled to voice the lightsaber-making droid called Huyang, with Hayden Christensen slated to again portray Darth Vader in some clandestine capacity.
