SAN ANTONIO — An road rage incident along West Loop 1604 led to a shooting that injured a man Saturday night, according to police. A 48-year-old man was driving with his son near the 9500 block of West Loop 1604 on the Northwest Side near Helotes. The man told police the driver of a white vehicle was upset with him in a road rage incident when the car pulled up to the passenger side of his truck on the highway.
Then one of the passengers in the white vehicle started shooting at the man around 9 p.m. Saturday, police said. He was shot as he was driving, and his truck was struck by bullets multiple times. The man had pulled over onto the shoulder of the highway when police arrived.The man was transported to a hospital in stable condition. Police have no suspects and continue to investigate.
