Authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the death of a man found in a New Jersey lake.
An Essex County sheriff’s officer spotted a body in the lake at Weequahic Park around 11 a.m. on Tuesday, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office.
The victim has yet to be identified and the cause and manner of death is pending completion of an autopsy, officials said, adding that no arrests have been made in the case. Anyone with information about the matter is asked to contact the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office tip line at 1-877-TIPS-4EC or 1-877-847-7432.
