Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) challenged a union boss to a cage fight after the latter criticized the former on social media.
Mullin, a former mixed martial arts fighter and 2016 inductee to the Oklahoma Wrestling Hall of Fame, extended the challenge to International Brotherhood of Teamsters General President Sean O’Brien on Monday. The senator told Fox News Digital that he was merely accepting O'Brien's invitation to fight, which he appeared to extend in a post on Twitter."Greedy CEO who pretends like he’s self made," O'Brien tweeted last week, with a picture of Mullin.
"Simple: He said ‘anyplace, anytime,’ so we accepted, September 30th in Tulsa, Oklahoma," Mullin said. Mullin first made his intentions known on Twitter in a tweet responding to a screenshot of O'Brien's first invitation.
