Initially conceived as a Star Wars film by Snyder, Rebel Moon is an original sci-fi epic. The movie is set in a universe controlled by the Mother World. When the moon Veldt is threatened by the Mother World's army, the Imperium, a former soldier, Kora, takes a stand.
Phil Boutte: Zack, I've worked with several times. I worked on Justice League [and] Man of Steel. Man of Steel was my first time working with him. He's wonderful. He's super collaborative, and he's also very kind, I think. But he's also got a lot of energy and his vision for things. The way he sees things is amazing.
And he's very specific about those things, but then he lets you play and fill in the gaps. And so as a creative, I guess the best way I could describe Zack is he's a creative amplifier. He takes what you have and he doesn't suppress you, he lets you expand out and it makes you want to work harder, but it also allows you to grow as an artist while then playing in this world that he's creating. It's really fascinating, but great.
