Goodfellas star Ray Liotta's cause of death has been revealed nearly a year after the iconic star passed away.
‘s cause of death has been revealed as heart and respiratory issues nearly a year after the iconic star’s passing.has stated that from documents the outlet was able to obtain and see, Liotta’s cause of death was considered “natural and nonviolent.” The documents reportedly cite respiratory insufficiency, pulmonary edema and acute heart failure. Apparently the star also suffered from atherosclerosis — a condition of thickened arteries as a result of plaque building up in the inner lining.
At the time of his passing, the star was in the Dominican Republic filming the movie Dangerous Waters. Liotta was 67 years old at the time of his death last year. He was engaged to Jacy Nittolo and left behind one daughter, Karsen.
