CLEVELAND, Ohio - Rocky River has the highest performing high school in Ohio in terms of test scores, according to the 2022 Ohio school report cards.
Fifty-four high schools received a score of 100 or higher, with the highest being 108.404 for Rocky River High School. Hamilton County has the most schools in this top percentile, with seven schools having a performance index of 100 or higher, accounting for 15.9% of its 44 high schools. Cuyahoga had six.
The performance index measures the test results of every student, not just those who score proficient or higher. Schools receive points for every student who takes a test, with more points awarded the higher the performance level on state tests.
