Rangers place Corey Seager on 10-day IL with hamstring strain, likely out at least a month
“You don’t replace a player of Corey Seager’s caliber,” Young said. “Every club is going to go through injuries and we knew something like this would happen. We didn’t know when or to whom, but it’s an opportunity for guys to step up. We feel like we have good depth and versatility in the infield with Smith and Duran. And certainly we are excited to see more of them and fill the void as best we can.
“Corey’s not a guy that you do a lot of things with,” Bochy said of Seager. “We may have to do a little more of that. They different hitters. It’s up to me to adjust to the team.”
