ICYMI: Prominent Berlin artist brings live performance works to Remai Modern
The Berlin-based artist’s self-titled exhibition invites viewers to immerse themselves in the live encounter and the personal experience. With this approach in mind, he has requested no photos or video be taken of the work.
Yet Untitled, a voice and movement presentation in the main-floor Connect Gallery, includes the addition of artist-curated sculptures from the museum’s permanent collection. He said he’s excited to present Sehgal’s work in Remai Modern, which challenges us to ask, “What can we advance or achieve through ingenuity in play?” as well as to rethink the role of art.Article content
