Project Roomkey participants living at the L.A. Grand Hotel under the program say they want to stay as the temporary housing program, which started during the pandemic, begins to phase out.
"Buy the hotel, let people stay here, help us make our lives better," said Will Sens, a Project Roomkey participant.
"Once again, we are facing the fear of being displaced, we have very few options and little assistance in finding suitable housing," said Mario Rodriguez, a Project Roomkey participant. But every day, people are being told to leave and if they don't have housing set up, they end up back on the street.This statement was provided by L.A.
