Nicole and Andrew Ruddy were traveling in San Bernardino County, California, Saturday night when an SUV operated by Eddie Escobedo crashed head-on into their car.Nicole, left, who was 35 weeks pregnant, died along with her unborn daughter; husband Andrew, right, suffered major injuries.The suspect, 43-year-old Eddie Escobedo, survived the collision and was also taken to a local trauma center to be treated for “major injuries,” the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department said.
Escobedo was later discharged from the hospital and booked into the county jail, where he remained Wednesday in lieu of $600,000 bail.
