Couldn't get Outside Lands tickets? You may soon get a second chance to see chart toppers at San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park.
. Mayor London Breed’s office announced a proposal to add a slate of concerts at the park directly following the city’s marquee music festival.
Another Planet Entertainment, the promoters behind Outside Lands, would produce the new concerts. According to a city, San Francisco Recreation and Park Commissioners will vote Thursday, May 18 on whether to recommend the Board of Supervisors approve a three year permit for the concerts. While these new concerts would take place in the same area as Outside Lands, they will be significantly smaller in scale. The concerts will cap attendance at 65,000, 10,000 less than Outside Lands.
