Most voters believe members of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) could be using TikTok to 'collect sensitive national security information.'

Most voters believe members of the Chinese Communist Party could be using TikTok to “collect sensitive national security information from U.S. government employees” and would support congressional action, banning the app, a Rasmussen Reports survey released Friday found.

Most, 68 percent, agree, and of those, 46 percent “strongly” agree. There is a consensus across the board, as most Republicans, Democrats, and independents — 87 percent, 54 percent, and 64 percent, respectively — agree. Similarly, more Republicans than Democrats or unaffiliated voters at least somewhat support federal legislation to ban TikTok from the United States.
