According to Willowick police, officers from Willowick, Eastlake, Wickliffe, Willoughby, Willoughby Hills and Kirtland all responded to the St. Mary Magdalene Parish Festival on Sunday.
Despite the early closure, the fighting continued outside the festival and into the business area along Vine Street and into residential areas, police say. It was then police say they used a pepper-ball gun to disperse the crowd.
“Multiple” arrests, all juveniles, were made, including a male with a handgun, police say. The male did not brandish the handgun and no shots were fired, according to police.
