A store clerk called police late Monday after a man collapsed in the parking lot of a convenience store with a gunshot wound in northwest Houston, officials said.
Officers around 8:30 p.m. received the call near the intersection of W. Little York Road and Easter Street, Lt. J.P. Horelica, of the Houston Police Department, told On Scene reporters. Investigators arrived along with emergency personnel, who treated the man for a gunshot wound to the back. He was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
