Pete Carroll says Drew Lock 'needed' the reps in preseason game
The 25-year-old reportedly looked off during Tuesday’s practice, so much so that the coaching staff asked him what was wrong,. That’s when Lock reported he felt sick and was sent to the trainers. Carroll said Wednesday the quarterback “barely made it off the practice field” on Tuesday.
“He was dragging,” Carroll said. “We were going to do post-practice work but [decided] no, let’s get him out of here. It hit him. He’s had it before already.
