Three people were arrested as suspects in a carjacking after crashing a stolen car into another vehicle, ejecting a person inside, after a pursuit along Interstate 680, authorities said.
FREMONT — Three people were arrested as suspects in a carjacking after crashing a stolen car into another vehicle after a pursuit along Interstate 680, authorities said.
The suspects stole the victim’s vehicle and fled before police responded. A surveillance system caught the vehicle in a neighborhood on the city’s north side, and police were able to track and eventually follow it, police said. The impact from the crash ejected a person from the car that was struck. First responders provided care before taking the victim to a hospital for further treatment. Police did not share the injured person’s condition Sunday night.
