Person in custody after missing woman found dead in building in Logan Square, cops say

A person is in custody after a 33-year-old woman was found dead with multiple stab wounds Monday at a residence in the Logan Square neighborhood, Chicago police said. Brittany Battaglia was discovered at a boyfriend’s apartment Monday about a block from her residence, her younger brother AJ Battaglia said Tuesday.Brittany Battaglia, who went missing in the 1900 block of North Kimball Avenue on June 2 in Chicago.
He also said his sister was private about her dating life but told him she was leaving her residence to go console her boyfriend.Chicago police said Wednesday that a person was in custody following the Monday discovery of an unresponsive unidentified woman in the 2000 block of North Kimball Avenue.
