A Department of Defense official told a Senate hearing on Thursday that the DOD has found 'no credible evidence thus far of extraterrestrial activity.'
The Department of Defense will examine 650 cases of unidentified anomalous phenomena , more commonly known as unidentified flying objects . This significantly more than the 350 cases referenced in an unclassified intelligence report earlier this year.
"I want to underscore today that only a very small percentage of UAP reports display signatures that could reasonably be described as 'anomalous.' The majority of unidentified objects reported to AARO demonstrate mundane characteristics of balloons, unmanned aerial systems, clutter, natural phenomena or other readily explainable sources," Kirkpatrick told the Senate hearing.
