The charges were in relation to a fight at a frat party in February.

Johnson was charged with assault and criminal mischief, according to reports, after police said he punched someone in the face at the frat in February. Affidavits reportedly said there was surveillance video that showed the Penn State pass catcher’s involvement in the incident.

Police said that it occurred after Johnson was asked to leave the fraternity because he was not wearing a wristband that was required to be in attendance for the party. The person who Johnson punched was reportedly taken to the hospital with a concussion.Johnson made nine starts for the Nittany Lions last season, catching 20 passes for 328 yards and four touchdowns.
