The Glass Onion Ending, Explained
, dropped in 2019, fans have been itching for more in the cinematic universe created by Rian Johnson. We won't have to wait much longer, thanks to a new mystery that ensues insequel features a brand new all-star cast, including Janelle Monáe, Kate Hudson, Kathryn Hahn, Madelyn Cline, Dave Bautista, Ethan Hawke, among others. Daniel Craig also reprises hisrole as private detective Benoit Blanc.
Both Andi and Duke were murdered by Miles for different reasons. Miles went after Andi because he knew his credibility would be questioned after she exposed his secrets. He then killed Duke because he found out about Andi and wanted to negotiate with Miles about his tech company. Miles roofied Andi's drink before he staged her death and planted her in the driver's seat of her car while she was unconscious. He left the engine running and the garage door closed until she died from the fumes. Duke's drink was also manipulated, but with pineapple juice as he's deathly allergic.Andi was the only person who saw Miles as the genius he is, and he ultimately pushed Andi out of their company although she co-founded it.
One word: revenge. Helen wanted to expose Miles' plan that killed her sister and prove that she didn't commit suicide. She also acted as a mole, or someone on the inside, to help Detective Benoit Blanc solve the murder since he wasn't invited to the island. Helen acting like Andi would not only disband the friend group, but give her and Detective Blanc the clues they needed to crack the case.
