October was the eighth straight month the city of Pearland topped the $3 million mark in sales tax revenue.Cash registers in Pearland continued to operate at a brisk pace in October, with the city pulling in some $3.47 million in sales tax revenue.The October figures were detailed in the Texas Comptroller’s latest monthly sales tax report, which was released Dec. 7.
The year-on-year dip broke a four-month streak where the city had improved on monthly performances from 2021. Over that period, Manvel’s monthly tax figures have averaged 13.4 percent less than was seen last year.
