House Bill 300 call for amending the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, which creates and empowers the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission - the body thatcomplaints of discrimination in housing, employment, and services. State Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta, D-Philadelphia, is one of the bill’s prime sponsors, and he’s right. Pennsylvania is better when it’s fair.

Arbour and Heldibridle told PennLive’s Editorial Board the House bill has bipartisan support, but even if it passes the House, it could face strong opposition in the Senate. They seem confident the stars are aligned to ensure the bill will pass the Senate and become law this year.
