$30 . A hotdog meal for children is $10.The Rose's first shrimp boil was presented by the Bill and Helen Crowder Foundation in honor of Bob Domec in 1999. The event has become the group's largest annual fundraiser and has raised more than $1 million.

In 2022, the event raised $132,600, including $23,300 from the live auction. This year's goal is to raise $150,000, and $82,309 has been raised so far.This year’s event will spotlight the unveiling of"Eva," the group's fifth mammography mobile coach. The coach, which has 3-D mammogram screening technology, joins a fleet of mobile units that bring imaging services to Southeast Texas with a focus on underserved communities.
