The man was taken to a local hospital where he was listed in critical condition, police said.
A Chatman Township resident was arrested after he was accused of stabbing another man during a Fourth of July party in town, authorities said.
Brian Kozub, 39, allegedly stabbed a 51-year-old man in the neck with a pocketknife during a get-together at Buxton Road home on Tuesday night, according to a statement from the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office. The man, who was not identified, was taken to Morristown Medical Center where he was listed in critical condition as of Wednesday afternoon,Kozub was charged with aggravated assault and weapons-related offenses and lodged in the Morris County Correctional Facility where he will be held pending his detention hearing, officials said.
