Babin, 59, has been placed on administrative leave with pay Bethel Park Police Chief Timothy O’Connor told WTAE.at his home after he was indicted on the single charge of transporting an undocumented worker to help the person illegally remain in the country. Babin helped the person sometime between Oct. 20 and Dec. 30, 2022, acting U.S. Attorney Troy Rivetti told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. If convicted, Babin could face up to five years in prison, a $250,000 fine or both.
