It is listed as “insufficient data” but may in fact be in great danger of extinction. These computer model-created probabilities were compared with individual examples that the researchers had gone through manually. The computer models proved to be extremely accurate. So species unknown to us often face an uphill battle. But the consolation is that the new knowledge can be of great use if used correctly.
