Former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama write that they are proud beneficiaries of affirmative action. One-third of the current Supreme Court — Justices Clarence Thomas, Sonia Sotomayor and Ketanji Brown Jackson — as well as scores of distinguished professors, lawyers and captains of industry are beneficiaries of affirmative action.
