An auction of items belonging to Ruth Bader Ginsburg raised over $500,000 dollars to support one of the late Supreme Court justice’s favorite charities.

A pair of her black lace gloves went for $16,575, while a cream-colored set commanded $12,750. Bonhams had estimated bidders would pay between $1,000 to $2,000 for each pair. A second judicial collar was pulled from the auction after the Ginsburg family decided to hold on to it until it could be placed on permanent loan for all to see,
