At least one person in critical condition after CTA Red Line shooting
Chicago Police are investigating after a shooting on a CTA Red Line train Saturday afternoon.
According to the Chicago Police Department, a 21-year-old man was on the CTA train in the 100 blok of West Cermak Road when when he was approached by a person who shot him in the calf. The victimw as transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he was intially reported in good condition.
The suspected shooter was taken into custody, and a weapon was recovered from the scene, police said.
