Victim, 27, shot while driving and died at hospital
Alerted by ShotSpotter, a gunfire notification technology, officers found the victim inside the vehicle with collision damage, suggesting that he had been shot while driving.
The victim was taken to the hospital and was pronounced dead, police said. His identity won’t be released until the family is notified.Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $10,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the shooter.
