Teachers walked off the job Thursday, picketing by the thousands outside more than 80 Oakland schools. The movement appears to have the support of many parents and students, some students even protesting alongside educators. NEW: Statement out from Oakland Unified School District says the OEA strike will continue tomorrow, marking a 3rd day of the strike.
