An Oakland man who worked for a ride-hailing company was shot and killed in the Little Saigon neighborhood Sunday as he waited in his car to deliver a meal.surveillance footage released on Tuesday . An award upwards of $12,500 is being offered to anyone with information that can lead to an arrest. “Our officers responded to calls of a shooting in the 2000 block of 13th Avenue,” Chief LeRonne L. Armstrong said during a. “Upon arrival, our officers made contact with Mr. Fung, who was suffering from gunshot wounds. Unfortunately, Mr. Fung succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Members of our command staff have been working with members of the community and our council member to try to address violence in this particular area.
The surveillance footage released Tuesday shows two unidentified men who approach Fung’s vehicle at about 11 a.m. on July 17. When they order him to exit his car and Fung refuses, gunshots can be heard and, moments later, the two men take off running.Top Picks In Shopping
