Oakland A’s fan on Wednesday’s news out of Nevada: “I can give you tons of analogies of it, but it just sucks.”

The Oakland 68s announced on April 20 via Twitter that they had emailed the A’s to get their drums out of storage at the Coliseum, and that the group’s drumming in right field would stop that day. The night before, the A’s announced that they had a binding agreement to purchase land just west of the Strip.

“Hearing Kotsay and the players react to the drums and how much they love the sound of it, how it motivates them,” Soria said. “Plus we’re on a winning streak, man. Seven games, so let’s go with what works. Just bringing that energy back for the players and for the fans.” “The ball was in the air for a second and Ramon had to freeze, so if we don’t have the atmosphere and the noise, probably goes , and that changes the game for sure,” Bride said. “So that just shows you all you need to know about what it was like last night.”
