Three men were shot and killed over the holiday weekend as gun violence continues to plague New York City's streets.

Community leaders, activists, and more gathered at City Hall Park on Friday to call for safer streets in New York City as we head into the typically violent summer months.More gun violence on New York City's streets claimed the lives of three more people over the Memorial Day weekend.

Upon arrival, officers found a 45-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the neck and right leg.
