A home in Butler County in southwest Ohio was heavily damaged Monday by a tornado with wind speeds reaching 110 mph. WILMINGTON, Ohio — Severe weather led to three tornados touching down Monday in southwest Ohio, the National Weather Service confirmed Tuesday.
The tornado tore off the roof of one home and leveled a barn behind the house. There also was damage to roofs and trees at several other properties. There were no reports of injuries. Pickaway County was hit by an EF0 tornado at about 4:03 p.m., with top winds around 85 mph. The tornado was on the ground for about two minutes and covered 1.4 miles. Two single-wide mobile homes were knocked on their sides, and the roof was lifted off of a garage.
