One match away from the final: Three Northeast Florida high school volleyball teams play FHSAA state semifinals this weekend. Here's a look ahead to the matchups.
Union County is back in the final four for the first time since 2017, riding a winning streak of four matches. Seniors Jaycee Davis and Emily Wilson are the seasoned competitors on a young Fightin' Tigers team. Madolyn Mills, Kailyn Ellis, Kaleigh Moss and Chloe Ates all have 140 or more kills for Baker, located in the Panhandle about 40 miles northeast of Pensacola. This will be the teams' first meeting since a Gators sweep in September 2016.
