A man died Saturday after colliding with a center median, a concrete barrier and another vehicle in a crash on Highway 237 in North San Jose, according to the California Highway Patrol.
SAN JOSE — A man died Saturday after a two-car crash on Highway 237 in North San Jose, according to authorities.
Around 5:09 p.m. Saturday, a 47-year-old man driving a 2004 Honda Civic began to veer to the left while driving in the far-left land on eastbound Highway 237, just west of North 1st Street, according to the California Highway Patrol. The vehicle then hit the center median, which sent it off to the right across all lanes of traffic. The car went off the roadway and into a concrete barrier on the edge of the road.
After colliding into the barrier, the car again veered off the the left and hit a Toyota Tundra being driven by a 52-year-old man. The Honda collided with the center median once more, this time coming to a stop on all four tires. The Toyota came to a rest while still on the roadway, according to the CHP.
