A 23-year-old in North Carolina allegedly hit a golf cart near Statesville, which killed 2 people and left four others injured, according to WBTV.

Michael Shane Marlowe, 39, and Bentley Marlowe, 5, were killed in the crash, according to the report. The North Carolina State Highway Patrol says that Austin Ray Harmon, 23, was driving a 2009 Honda Accord when he allegedly hit the golf cart near Statesville at 9:40 p.m., which had five people in it, according to WBTV.

Troopers said that the car, which was driving in the opposite direction, crossed the center line and hit the cart.
