Jose Fernandez, 24, was charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon Wednesday. Police were called to the area about a shooting behind a Burger King, and when they arrived, they found a man dead. A short time later, they found another man nearby with a gunshot wound to the head, according to court records. The second man was found behind a daycare about 300 yards east of the restaurant.
