Members receive $166 for each regular meeting they attend, plus $250 each for special meetings scheduled as needed to hear applications promptly. With up to 30 regular and 10 special meetings a year, that’s a maximum of $7,480. “I am aware,” Ladd said of a complaint that Cobian had been serving on the board while living in neighboring Harrison, just across the Passaic River. “It’s under investigation.”
