The 43-acre property where the National Historic Landmark sits is the subject of a redevelopment plan.

The 20-foot horn antenna that confirmed the Big Bang theory sits on a 42-acre site in Holmdel that is being considered for redevelopment.The Horn Antenna will remain on the 43-acre site it has always been on, despite a proposed redevelopment plan, the owner of the property said Monday.

“The historic Horn Antenna in Holmdel is not at risk, never was at risk and will remain accessible to the public,” Rakesh Antala, a Holmdel resident and principal owner of Crawford Hill Holdings LLC, which is seeking to redevelop the property, said in a press release.
