will launch the new bus route on Thursday. The route will begin at the bus terminal at 152 N. Atherton St. in State College near Penn State University with stops at the Harrisburg Transportation Center at the corner of South Fourth and Chestnut streets; at Park and Ride at 170 King of Prussia Road in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County near King of Prussia; at Philadelphia Airport , and at the northeast corner of South Broad Street and Pattison Avenue near NRG Station in Philadelphia.
The service will end in New Jersey with stops in Atlantic City at Tropicana Atlantic City, Caesars Atlantic City Hotel & Casino and Resorts Casino Hotel. All three casinos are located along the boardwalk. There are nine casinos in Atlantic City with six of them located along the boardwalk. Shore point stops will include Absecon, Margate, and Ventnor, with connection in Galloway.
“Students and residents of central Pa. have been waiting for a clean, fast, and economical way to travel to Atlantic City and their favorite beach towns in the southern Garden State – and OurBus offers them a new, customer-friendly option,” Numaan Akram, CEO of Rally OurBus, said in a news release.
Fares from central Pennsylvania to Atlantic City and points on the Jersey Shore will be $89 one way. Gambling bonuses from the casinos will be available for passengers 21 years of age and older, depending upon a passenger’s trip origination point. The company has a rider discount program for families and frequent travelers.
Amenities for passengers include complimentary bottled water, free Wifi, and USB ports at each seat.
