“We’re building a new generation of office space with them. It’s no longer about one size fits all and one person in one seat all day,” Severson said. Neiman Marcus has leased 7,500 square feet of space at 5 Bryant Park in Manhattan and 17,000 square feet in India. Neiman Marcus previously had 400,000 square feet of office space, and it no longer needs that much space. It had offices in three buildings downtown and in Irving. The retailer’s May 2020 bankruptcy allowed it to vacate leases in Renaissance Tower and 1700 Pacific Avenue.
