The overnight rain has ended and a weak cold front will gradually push in slightly lower humidity today. The day will begin with cloudy skies and then transition to sunshine. Overall, it will be a nice outdoor day. For that matter, a nice stretch of weather is expected for the next several days.
A slight shift in the jet stream pattern will have a rather large impact on our weather the next few days. This change will result in dry weather though Thursday. A warming trend can be expected toward the end of the week. Friday will be the warmest day with highs approaching 90. The next chance for showers and thunderstorms will be late Friday. A stronger cold front will sweep through North Texas Friday night with a chance of storms. It will also bring in cooler and drier air for the weekend.: Mostly clear skies, patchy fog. Low: 62.
